Trying to figure out the new Facebook API. Interesting...

I recently posted on Facebook...
"Funny how this turns out to be a topic of wild debate after I mentioned how legal it is for this kind of social engineering. Oh wait, did FB just feed me this? Or was it some other entity praying on my social interactive data without my knowledge. =/ A comment I wrote on a friend's timeline not too long ago. This kind of data farming and analysis isn't new but it is important to be aware of, especially when it comes to making your voice heard by the governing bodies you choose to elect or neglect. Please take the time to educate yourself and vote accordingly. While FB is one of the worst publicly offending data farming corporations in existence today, I worry more about the company, government or organization that purchases my information, and what they choose to do with it without my knowledge. Because as of right now, it is legal in the worst possible way in the US."
